Patriot Mobile’s ‘In God We Trust’ School Poster Donations Gain National Attention

When Patriot Mobile donated “In God We Trust” signs to North Texas schools earlier this month, we had no idea the effect it would have beyond our community.

We have been pleasantly overwhelmed with the local, national, and international media coverage of this effort. Fox News, NBC News, CBS News, The Epoch Times, Newsmax, Breitbart, and many, many other outlets suddenly elevated Texas Senate Bill 797 and the return of God to our public schools to the spotlight.

As the word spread, we received additional order requests and to date, we have delivered almost 1,000 posters throughout Texas to be conspicuously displayed in public schools. Many Christians have joined in the effort and presented these donated signs to their school districts or donated their own signs. This has become a movement to bring God back into our schools!

At the Fort Worth ISD school board meeting, Deborah Ford, a former FWISD teacher and Christian, delivered a short but powerful message about why she was excited to bring over 140 of our donated “In God We Trust” signs to the schools.

Patriot Mobile employees also delivered additional posters to Grapevine-Colleyville ISD and Mansfield ISD last week. We have sent hundreds more to ISDs throughout Texas with the help of Patriot Mobile members, friends, and activists.

Glenn Story, our Co-founder and CEO, and Leigh Wambsganss, VP of Government and Public Affairs, were invited onto Steve Bannon’s show, The War Room, to discuss the outrage from the left over our donated signs.

NBC News then ran a lengthy, investigative piece on Patriot Mobile and Patriot Mobile Action, titled, How a far-right, Christian cellphone company ‘took over’ four Texas school boards.

Despite NBC News’ leftist slant, we’re glad that they covered all the amazing work Patriot Mobile has been doing lately. We must be making an impact!

Some leftists have tried to push back against our “In God We Trust” signs by donating their own “In God We Trust” signs written in Arabic and rainbow colors. However, the law specifically requires signs to “contain a representation of the United States flag centered under the national motto and a representation of the state flag; and may not depict any words, images, or other information other than the representations listed.”

Texas State Senator Bryan Hughes, who authored this bill, released a memo clarifying the law. The National Motto must be in English. No additional images may be contained in the posters. Schools are only required to accept and display one donated copy of the poster in each of the buildings.

If you would like to join in this effort, visit American History and Heritage Foundation on how you can donate signs to your school. They simply ask for a small donation to cover their costs. Additionally, they have partnered with Hobby Lobby, who generously provides a sizeable discount for the matching frames.

Thank you all for spreading the word about this story and for helping keep our founding principles visible in public schools. May God bless our schools and America as we put Him first!
