On Friday, January 20, 2023, Patriot Mobile participated in the 50th annual March for Life in Washington, D.C. — the first march post-Roe!
What is the March for Life 2023?
The March for Life is the largest, longest-running human rights demonstration in the world, drawing thousands of participants every year. In previous years, pro-lifers marched to the Supreme Court with the express purpose of overturning Roe v. Wade. After 50 years, we finally celebrated Roe’s defeat.
It was a monumental day! The Patriot Mobile team proudly marched with fellow pro-lifers from all over the country. We saw a diverse group of men, women, and children from all walks of life, from all different backgrounds, unified under the banner of protecting LIFE.
“Participating in this year’s march will be one of my most cherished memories,” said Ellie Tradup, a Patriot Mobile employee. “Not only was it my first time, but how special to be part of the first march since the overturning of Roe v. Wade! I’m so proud to work for a company that not only says we’re pro-life but is taking action to protect preborn babies and mothers.”
March for Life 2023 brings nationwide celebration and worship
On Saturday, we sponsored the National Pro-Life Summit, hosted by one of Patriot Mobile’s cause organizations, Students for Life of America. Patriot Mobile’s CMO, Scott Coburn, introduced the panel titled ‘Men in the Pro-life Movement,’ and shared Patriot Mobile’s Christian, conservative mission. It was inspiring to meet so many young, passionate pro-life students!
Patriot Mobile also participated in another significant pro-life event, Citizens for Life, in Dallas, Texas. On the 50th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, believers came together to march and pray for every state to turn towards LIFE, in the very city where the abortion battle began. Evangelical leaders Lou Engle, Lisa Bevere, Sean Feucht, Heather Schott, and several other speakers kicked off the event, contending in prayer for God to forgive our sins and heal our land.
The fight for life isn’t over
While Roe v. Wade has been overturned, we know that the work of the pro-life movement is far from over. Although over a dozen states have banned or restricted abortion, it is still legal in the majority of states. California, planning to become a sanctuary for abortion, may use taxpayer funds to pay for out-of-state women to travel and seek an abortion in California. Companies across the nation fund the travel of abortion-seekers who cannot legally obtain an abortion in their home state. The battle now rests with the states. State legislatures MUST pass pro-life laws protecting preborn children! Let’s keep “marching forward”!
