Activating Young Patriots To Save America

Patriot Mobile proudly sponsored Turning Point USA’s Student Action Summit (SAS) in Tampa, Florida in July. SAS is a premier student conference that brought together 5,000 young patriots from all over the country to learn from some of the biggest names in the conservative movement.

The students received first-class activism and leadership training and participated in networking events to equip them to return to their campuses ready and energized to defend conservative values.

At the Patriot Mobile booth, we had the opportunity to meet thousands of young Americans who were as passionate as we are to save America. We loved talking to the students, hearing their perspective, and answering their questions about our mission-driven company and the cell phone services we provide. We debuted Patriot Mobile’s brand new ‘I Identity As A Patriot’ t-shirt, which proved to be very popular among the students! We easily gave away 1,500 shirts during the three-day conference.

On Friday, we were honored to host Dr. Ben Carson for a special signing of his children’s book, ‘Why America Matters.’ In this book, Dr. Carson shares the Judeo-Christian values of America’s founding, and the importance of faith, liberty, community, and life. Attendees waited in long lines to meet Dr. Carson and have him personally sign their book. Patriot Mobile bought and gave away 150 copies of this important book.

That evening, we heard from many notable leaders including Senator Josh Hawley, Senator Mike Lee, Dr. Ben Carson, Senator Ted Cruz, and Governor Ron DeSantis.

Senator Ted Cruz fired up the crowd, speaking on the insanity of the current Democrat Party and standing up to it with boldness and humor. On the issue of the skyrocketing inflation, “it’s gotten so bad, AOC can’t even afford fake handcuffs,” he joked.

Governor Ron DeSantis encouraged the young patriots to stand firm in their faith. “You got to be ready for battle.” Governor DeSantis said. “So put on the full armor of God. Take a stand against the Left’s schemes. Stand firm with the belt of truth buckled around your waist. You will face fire from flaming arrows, but the shield of faith will protect you.”

Scott Coburn, Patriot Mobile’s CMO, also took the stage that night to share with the students why Patriot Mobile was founded. “We need to start prioritizing our beliefs and values over convenience and comfort,” Scott said. “This is called voting with your dollars and this is why companies like Patriot Mobile are so important right now because it provides an alternative to these woke companies that are trying to destroy our country.”

Scott goes on to share the mission of our company. “We check all the boxes that say we’re a cellphone company,” Scott said. “But here’s the deal: Our mission has nothing to do with cellphones. Our mission is to relentlessly defend our God-given constitutional rights and freedoms and to do so in a way that glorifies God.”

Saturday was a packed day full of fiery speeches and breakout sessions. We heard from Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, Congresswoman Lauren Boebert, Congressman Matt Gaetz, Kimberley Guilfoyle, and Donald Trump Jr. The evening ended with a special guest: President Donald Trump.

Always a crowd favorite, President Trump hit on various issues, including controversies surrounding schools. He spoke on the need to prohibit left-wing teaching of inappropriate racial, sexual, and political material to our youth. “You would not trust these people to babysit your children for 20 minutes,” he said. “And why should we then let them educate millions of American students six hours a day, year after year, after year?”

Sunday morning began with a worship service led by ‘Let Us Worship’ founder, Sean Feucht. Even at 7am, hundreds of students filled the auditorium to praise God corporately. Several pastors spoke to the worshippers, including Pastor Rob McCoy and Pastor Mark Burns. It was an amazing time of worship and prayer, reclaiming America for Jesus!

After the event, The View’s Whoopi Goldberg made slanderous comments about Turning Point USA, linking them to neo-Nazis. She claimed TPUSA was ‘complicit’ in a neo-Nazi protest that was happening outside of the event, even though TPUSA publicly condemned the protest. As the Patriot Mobile team was there, we can confirm that the conference was peaceful and patriotic with no hint of racism. After TPUSA pushed back and threatened to The View with legal action if they didn’t retract the comments, The View apologized. We support TPUSA’s response in standing up for the truth of what happened and we are glad The View apologized for making those comments.

Patriot Mobile applauds Charlie Kirk and the whole TPUSA team for the phenomenal work they’re doing to invest in the next generation of leaders and pass on the values that have made America great. We were honored to have been a part of the Student Action Summit. We look forward to TPUSA’s next big event: AmericaFest in Phoenix, Arizona in December. We hope you’ll join us there!
